Artificially enforced scarcity sure proves right-libertarian points about how capitalism improves standards of living don’t it? 

Dude: Hey we have a Surplus of this food item which means we can drastically reduce the price of it, right?

I thought they threw it out because it was spoiled or couldn’t be sold or something like that but nah I read the article and there was nothing wrong with the milk besides there being too much of it

I find this kind of food waste even worse than, say, rotting oranges in Spain, because milk (and meat) require more resources (and animal suffering) to produce – and for what? To be poured down the drain…
