There are some objective reasons mostly all his detractors agree with like giving The Pope Undertale is incredibly stupid despite his reasoning, he gets mad when people poke fun/poke holes at his various theories when he should be taking it less seriously, he seriously tries to reach for dumb theories that he can exaggerate to get the most clicks, his frankly ridiculous thumbnails (which I have made into an alignment chart because of how ridiculous they can be.)
But as for personal reasons, it’s because I started watching him around the time he was starting to get his stride. He talked about drawing real life comparisons to various video games (the Kremlings and King K. Rool from DKC are an invading people wanting to drain resources) and theories that are actually interesting (The Belmonts and Dracula from Castlevania struck a deal to have him appear dead just so the Belmonts can live like kings of the village until he returns once again), but then his shit started to degrade around the time he discussed how Mario is in fact a hateful, terrible person because he does some questionable things, then it got worse. Video games are anti-LGBT, trying to discover Mega Man’s “””T R U E””” villain, and the countless FNAF and Undertale theories that are all either harmless or ridiculous and kinda laughable. It’s a fall from grace that just makes me annoyed on some days and really sad on most when I think about it. He had such potential but I feel he just let his fame and young fanbase degrade his content.
