Even assuming that bit of lore carries a kernel of truth, there are stories and evidence that Asmodeus slaughtered whole civilizations to give room for the devils to rule the nine hells, and that the true god of light that ruled that realm was also murdered. Do not speak to me of evil as a natural force when no matter its form, it is a cancer that eats without restraint.
