Emotionally traumatizing af 😫

You’ll notice this same pattern in abusers.

What am I apologizing for? I’m the parent.

I pray for any kid that has a parent like ^

Being a parent doesn’t require you to act like a bully to your kid. You can admit your wrong and still have your kid’s respect. Even parents make mistakes and pretending like you don’t and being dismissive of your kids because you’re a Parent is harmful to your kid

I always apologize to my son, admit I was wrong for my reaction, and explain what needs to take place, if there’s an issue.

I still hold a lot of resentment and anger towards my parents for how they treated me. The last thing I want is to raise a kid who is mad at the world and can’t effectively communicate. Took me over 20 yrs to heal and I am still struggling. Don’t want him to struggle either.

Same niggas saying protect Black children are the same ones to refuse to examine how their behavior can harm them
