I hate these videos. It’s essentially demonstrating human cruelty to anything inferior.

Lmfao it’s demonstrating that this robot is capable of over coming obstacles in pursuit of completing a task. It’s not like the guy is actually doing this as a fuck you to the robot

There are plenty of other ways to do this besides just being a dick and forcefully fucking with the subject. Not to mention that as a society, 99% of the time opening a door isn’t met with hostility, unless you’re in a war zone or some other situation in which humans are still being cruel.

we aint at the point where being nice to the door opening robot is necessary it has no feelings maybe if it had basic ai id *Kinda* understand that sentiment but it doesn’t even have that .  it just recognizes what a door is and will do anything it can  to get it open it aint that deep
