My dad is a cop too and honestly I hate him. I’m disabled, and he would make fun of me every day. He would start fight because he thought they were funny. He was physically, emotionally, and verbally abusive. Once, he threw me over our couch and called me a pussy (he’s over 100 pounds more than me btw). Another time he pinned me to a wall and threatened to kill me. When I turned 18, I left to live with my mom, and I haven’t spoken to him since. He doesn’t know I’m trans, and he never will
